This is a MOVING SCAM!!! The Company's address listed with Florida Sunbiz.org [4302 Hollywood Blvd 311 Hollywood FL 33021] is a UPS rental mail box. Owner Leon Gaon can not be verified as actually being a living person in FL. They also list 2222 S. Combee Lakeland FL as another address (on their website). I checked the location it has been vacated for months and the building owner says they have no record of a Compass Van Lines as a tenant. The 20436 NE 15th Court Miami FL address is a run down storage facility (nothing like they claim on their website). There is no security, no lighting, the only environmental controls are the two broken out windows on the door. I discovered all this while trying to file a claim against Compass. They use Anthem Claim Management LLC as their claims office; if you research this company on the Internet you will find people claiming they have a lot of links to other moving scam companies. The movers who showed up at our home came at 7:30 pm at night and they were in a van marked Globus. Globus lost their license a while back but Compass apparently sub-contracts to them. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!
